Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI)

Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI) or Artificial Insemination is a procedure that treats infertility that boost chances of pregnancy by placing healthy sperm directly into that uterus.

Intrauterine means inside the uterus, thus IUI is process where Doctors insert specially prepared sperm around the time an ovary releases one or more eggs, so that sperm and egg unite in fallopian tube, leading to fertilization of egg, resulting in pregnancy.
